I’ll Be Gone…

Moment

΅〜  ೋღ ღೋ      〜΅

I’m afraid to love…

To want…to wish…

Dreams…

Hopes…

All of it…

   ΅〜 〜΅

I feel you calling me to you…

I feel your desire…

I feel your love…

΅〜 〜΅

You’re my strength…

My knight…

My dream…

΅〜 〜΅

Take my hand…

Pull me close…

Hold me tight…

Don’t let go…

΅〜 〜΅

I’ll love you so well nothing will compare…

I’ll be everything you wish…everything you desire…

I’ll spoil you so well…none but me will

fulfill you so absolutely…

so completely…

΅〜 〜΅

You’ll wonder what I want…

What I need…

How you can fulfill me…

You’ll ask me…

΅〜 〜΅

I’ll change the subject…

I’ll take a step back…

You’ll ask me to open up…

To talk to you…

I’ll be further away…

΅〜 〜΅

Take my hand…

Pull me close…

Hold me tight…

Don’t let go…

΅〜 〜΅

Kiss me our last…

For when you wake…

I’ll be gone…

΅〜 ೋღ ღೋ      〜΅

Too afraid to risk it all…again

The above piece was purely a fictional foray…

or as I like to call it…”Fun With Fiction

  1. Yearning, longing and mystery…the Bermuda Triangle of poetic emotions. Your eclectic range of writing styles is again on show with this piece, there is no pigeon holing you for when you write, anything can happen, rules are broken. You are THE language anarchist!

You write your fun fiction well, I wonder how magnificently you would write your fun with faction. Delicacy and almost intangibility are the words for this Stethinks. The word bewitching goes without saying. xxxxx

So I will say….today you have rendered me speechless and have left me in such a state while basking in the afterglow of your generous praise… xxxxx

  2. WOW! That was an incredible piece. Definitely up there with your best.

It may be fiction, but that didn’t stop you from putting your all into it. Exceptionally superlative.

  3. To love is perhaps the greatest risk a heart can take. If not the gentle humility and intimacy it begets, the constant separation and unknown expectation, make for something other than a flesh affair. To feel your lover hurting, to feel them pull away, and to know, no matter how much you “Take [their] hand” or “pull [them] close” they are ever far away. This risk to love. Fear of the forgotten and crushed heart. A golden rose torn form the gardens of the soul and wistfully cast aside. Ahhh, such pain. Such pain in this poem.

    • Such a beautiful comment….thank you so much! Your insight is not only exquisitely expressed but very accurate as well! Love is indeed a risk…whether as you described…or it is taken from you via relationship’s demise or under worse circumstances…loss of a loved one. In my case, having experienced the latter…I can share with you it is excruciatingly painful. ~ However….the heart is a miraculous thing….in time it rebuilds itself…and one can then choose to be like the fictional character I depicted or remain open to love…again…I choose the latter. Your last few lines are absolutely magically written “a golden rose torn from the gardens of the soul and wistfully cast aside…” sigh…yes…magical indeed!

      • Ah Christina. How wonderful you are to have hope and remain open after such loss. I once gave a girl my “golden rose”, I got depressed when she handed it back bruised and lifeless. It crushed any seed of hope, and I wallowed in bitterness. You are on the right track, Christina! It was only once I had forgiven her that I began to take the risk to love again, and that I found healing.
I have plucked yet another golden rose, and she has planted my centerpiece amongst her own. I see now, that others are blooming, that there are colours I never knew existed, that my once meager garden has never heard such birdsong. When I stop to listen I can almost hear the loud chorus of bees making their rich honey in my heart. May you know spring Christina, and if you only take one risk for the rest of your days, let it be to love. 😀 ❤ Bless you!

  4. It is fun and most enchanting too, and the knight
that doesn’t know what his lady wants and needs
has no place in romanticism, Whether it be reality
or fantasy he should instinctively delight her every
desire, her every wish touched upon and eagerly
explored. Well that is what I think anyway 😉 🙂

Your poetry is sublime my sweet friend…
