The inherent tendency to withdraw is fierce in me. I’m working on it.

You, dear sir, are absolutely wonderful for your patience and for always sharing your awesomeness so generously…despite my (purely unintentional) erratic presence here. I am fully intent on being here from now forward! Life, it would seem, has held me hostage…but I am breaking free!

Time…is such a bittersweet thing. I feel I much apologize for not being here sooner, life has been so very demanding. But I am here now… and sending you hugs and gratitude!

Personally I think your tendency to withdraw in general has gotten a lot less in the last few years, the blog not withstanding you are now much more able to integrate and be open about things which in turn has made your words even more evocative.
I love the Nietzsche quote, so brooding but epic all the same, it reminds me of that sci fi film…but that’s a little too grim for this time of the day so another time when digressions are more welcome.
I felt like I was surfing on your words today, or perhaps bobbing along in a boat, a top some stormy waves, the third and fourth lines really give it that up and down feeling…okay I couldn’t think of the word but you know what I mean you are good like that. As ever you are very visceral in your depictions of a tumultuous time but you write about it so darn well it is impossible not to be sucked into the nature of the feelings.
As the fragments collide I think that the a whole new sum of the disjointed parts can be made, I imagine a chrysalis style transformation, the thought of which makes me smile. I’m glad you are back, we have all missed your words but me most of all!

It never ceases to intrigue me, your thoughts of my words. It is absolutely fascinating. I am so glad you liked the quote as well, it really did pair so well with my thoughts in writing this. Well, hi, I’ve missed you. I’ve actually been away almost 9 months! From my blog, and until recently Facebook. Funny, but I was thinking about you a few days ago and wondered where you were. Glad to see you back and now I can go back and think about doing a post at my place.
