Protecting…
Can I tempt you?
Fascinate you?
Entice you?

Would you look beyond this masquerade I’ve so cleverly crafted?
Would you truly seek me with an exigent desire to unequivocally know me?
Would you rather believe the interpretation of my rendition…
Or keep me here where my words only serve…

Oh that is awesome. I love the way you tell this, in words, sentences and in the spaces in between and above & below. Obfuscation (one of my favourite words for years but I rarely remember it) – hidden in plain sight. The mask hiding all, or is the mask the reality pretending to be the mask?
The one line that I really like above all others, just for the “full circle” of it is
The very tool of my destruction…
Simultaneously my resurrection…
What destroys me makes me whole again. Such a profound statement. Every time you create another piece of poetry that blasts the last one out of the water. Each time I think you have to go all out to top that last one, and there you go, topping that last one.
Sometimes I envy your ability to use words in the way that you do. You are a master wordsmith.

Praise that is due. I am also amazed at how different people see different parts of different poems in different ways. Okay, I may have overused the word “different” there hehe.

I think I can safely say the answer to all your questions would be yes. I have read this work a few times and as befits your wonderful writing, I find many different interpretations of your words…that is part of your skill and enticement though.
Delicately haunting is, for me, the key phrase. It sums up you writing, the atmosphere with which you write, the feelings you bring out in your readership and the inspiration which helps me to create as well.

I think your work is great because when I reread your poems in a different mindset I come up with different interpretations and that is the strength of your work, it means so much to so many different people.
