It would be so easy to open myself to your love…
To fall fast and furious…
Fiercely intense chain reaction…
Combustion inside and out…
A mere thought of you the ignition…
My longing…my loneliness…my needs…the fuel for this fire…
This exigency flame enveloping us….
Your words caress from the inside out…
Ubiquitous desire…
Fulfilling yet….
Leave me aching….needing….wanting…
More…always more…
An addiction that is what you’ve become…
΅〜 ೋღ ❁ ღೋ 〜΅
Whether you will enhance me or destroy me remains unknown…
It would be so easy to discover which…
If only I could open the door to my soul and let you in…
Let you consume me….

That is magnificent. It is sensual and desperate whilst at the same time being reserved and fearful. The way you tell this as someone in love and yet scared to open fully as there is no going back, it takes a long time to shut that door once it is opened.
“It would be so easy …” perfectly written Christina.

Thank you so very very much sweet friend! It was one of those that sort of spilled out… Love it when you read something that ‘ignites’ the words! You are absolutely right….and yet if we do not open that proverbial door….well…is that worse than opening it? Conundrum.

I know what you mean about something you read and “ignites”. I finished that poem that was inspired by the post you shared.
The old adage “It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all” I have told myself on more than one occasion that it hurts so much to lose that I would have preferred to have never loved, to have left that door shut. But to have never felt that? No, that door has to be opened at least once in your life because to have the feeling of loving and being loved by the person who loves you, is something that you will never ever forget no matter what.

Ooo did you post? I shall have to go see soonest, most especially since I am Mrs. Procrastination today here hanging with my peeps instead of doing things that are screaming to be done!
Too true about never forgetting.I have asked myself that question so many times. Never have given me an answer I much liked. I’ve asked others as well….their answers didn’t please me either. It is one of life’s mysteries and when it comes down to it I suppose that other popular quote “you regret what you didn’t do more than what you did do” comes to mind….Something to ponder. Perhaps… Hugs to you sweet friend!

You miss every shot you didn’t take.
I am writing that poem up today. I want to find a few images to go with it as my photos aren’t the type to go with this poem, it’s about what you can find in books. There are so many answers to the question that it is impossible to get a right answer. It is also impossible to get a wrong answer. It is one where the answer can only be felt
I think tomorrow I am going to give up with everything and just take time for me. Thursday should be changed to “Procrastiday”

I loved the poem and the photos you chose were perfect! 🙂 Too true about no right answer, and that it can only be felt…even then there is always risk. Some things are definitely worth the risk…
Sounds awesome….I need a “Procrastiday”! #Desperately ha

Thank you on both counts 🙂 That poem is my most liked “non-page” page post of all time. My about page has over 300 likes, and that one post has more than a third that number. I have no idea why. It seems to have soared in a way others haven’t. All that from the inspiration of your post on Facebook.
Monday
Procrastiday
Wednesday
Thursday
Procrastiday
Saturday
Sunday
I think that’s sorted

LOL You do make me *giggle* and blush at bit as well! I’m all for being subtle…much like the ‘b’ the word ‘subtle’ which has always perplexed and simultaneously fascinated me. Have a cuppa your fav warm beverage sir and take deep breaths…I hear that fixes everything…. Maybe. 😉 xoxo

Hehe 🙄
Ah !! “subtle”.!! I Googled it and found :
Origin:
1250–1300; Middle English. sotil > Old French. Latin> subtīlis subtile.
Synonyms
6. sly, tricky, foxy, slick.
from Dictionary.com Unabridged
If #6 is to go by I can now understand why it has “always perplexed and simultaneously fascinated me” 😉
I’m going with “foxy” 😉
No, a cuppa has not fixed my problem 😉 xoxox

I love it. it is the unpredictable fire of passion, the reticence, almost fear of giving yourself up to that explosive feeling, knowing you could lose everything even yourself in that tumultuous cascade.
You say it with such red hot and wanton sexiness…yes I do believe I rather like this…
