I do like all of your poetry. You have a way with words that is … intoxicating 🙂 I don’t think I have ever read anyone who uses such words that normally would scare, but with you they are transcendent. (I had to use a thesaurus to find that word 😆 ) Brilliance and wondrous

You know, I don’t often see a poet pull off poetry rife with that which I would call “expensive language” to any great effect.
Christina, you’ve done brilliantly. Not only are the words you’ve chosen cause for one to pause a moment and consider, in and of themselves, but your flow is impeccable.

I have had your family and your visitor on my mind a lot lately and hope you are having a wonderful time together. We are down to our last week of work thankfully, as there is nothing left of my days after work and sleep. We are working either 10 or 12 hour days, 5 days a week, so I have decided to forego blogging until we are done with this tour of duty. Wow, I must say this poem is quite impressive…
I like the way you show us a different approach regarding love… It is not just that pure genuine and caring feeling but something that strikes on us… Like a battle between fighters, love is fire, passion, “Provocative exhilaration”, “Decadent desires”, pain…
Love is related with surrender…
I don´t know if someone is meant to be defeat here or if the overcoming ending result of the lovers fight is just “indulgence”… Such is the effect of love: to fulfill our desires and to fill the other person with loving gestures…

I usually just write without thinking….the words just come to me. I suppose if I interpreted them it would be as you so eloquently said….that Love is indeed surrender…continually so. Also, that the ending would be a mutual indulgence…to cement Love through a physical bond.
