Tumultuous emotions…
Dilution of enchantment…
Enticing facade permeates…
Truth’s Obscurity…
All ways on the edge of reality’s intention…

΅〜 ೋღ ღೋ      〜΅
Discombobulated senses…
Confusion…
Choice…
Hidden all ways is that fragility of spirit…
Longing for everything…
Longing for nothing…
Be strong…be wise…be the carefully crafted charade…
Safety in the shadows…

Delicious ambiguity…
On the edge…
Decision’s deviation…

  1. I love your use of words. You always use the best words. The ones other people don’t think of using. And you make them sing. Sing like a seasoned chorister. Brilliant. The way you flow to make the reader feel what the poem feels is excellent. You can feel the longing of the woman in the picture as you write what is in her head.

On another note, something happened on TV here a couple of days ago and I thought of you. One of your favourite words was used. This guy who was reading messages from people at home, said “I’ve just found this word – discombobulated – and I had to look up what it meant

That is funny…it is a rather underused word…I am on a mission to use it more haha!

      • You’re welcome Christina. I do love your variation in words. It is “you”. I don’t think anyone else would be able to do it as you can.

Word of the month: discombobulated” hehe

  4. As I said, your use of the English language amazes me. You are truly gifted in the way you paint your feelings onto the page with only ink, paper and the depths of your heart flowing freely. (I hope that makes sense to you–it is the way I picture you as you write your poetry–a painter of poetry). Blessings sent your way for your Sunday and your week, Christina!

    • I’m happy you loved the photo!! I did too…that and the word “discombobulate” were the impetus for this piece actually so it’s even funnier! Though, I’m thinking of petitioning the dictionary people to make “Discombobulation” a real word lol! Kidding…sort of 😉

  8. I particularly enjoyed your rambunctious use of the word discombobulated. That, though was one of many words that you once again wove into the fabric of your poem.

You have an exceptional skill for plucking the perfect word out of the air and I do so enjoy reading all your works. My favourite bit of the poem, you haven’t asked? Well, allow me to answer(!)…Delicious ambiguity…that line is just perfectly placed in a top drawer piece of writing. xxxxx

    • It is always such a decadent treat to be the recipient of your thoughts! Sublime comment this is….”wove into the fabric of your poem”!! Delicious ambiguity indeed…I was hopeful you would focus on that phrase…it is an interesting notion to ponder for bit. You do spoil me so with your generous praise….which all ways inspires and encourages me to new heights… xxxxx
